a bit of glitter for a drear month
besides being the month of snow, february is the month of amethyst.
photos from our trip to the always amazing tucson gem and mineral show -
six foot tall split geode, hand hammer chiseled amethyst necklace,
my not-tiny-foot for size reference.
and it was warm !
